Dicipline and procedure

Teachers needs to be consitent in every rule that they set for a very obvious  reason because once a rule is violated and did not give the right or appropriate consequences their could be a posibility that this rule will no longer be effective, consistency is a big deal in classroom management because it is here that the students sees opportunity or look for opportunity to strike and perform unwanted behaviour and the solution for this is to be effective and consistent.

 In a classroom seeting their are different types of teachers different ways of establishing with students and delivering instruction or setting rules, in my entire time observation I think that in aclassroom we can say that we already achieve discipline if we dont even say anything and we see our students performing thier roles as individuals, i believe the more that we do this things continuesly or as a routine then slowly it becomes a hobby and finally becomes natural, see discipline  can never be achieve in just one sitting it takes time a patient teacher. Lastly an effective teacher doesnt just establish rules but plans on how to deal with challenges

Holy angel university is a catholic school it creates a curriculum specially designed to provide new and unique learning experiences for its students, it also provides quality education that could tranform a individual to a person with conscience, competence and compassion, Holy Angel University has been here for a long time it produced alot of graduates that excells not only in academic but also in other fields like music and other more.

Even though holy angel university provides additional subjects in its curriculum they still follow with the national curriculum which are the filipino , english, math science, and social science which are very important in the academic development of an individual inline with this Holy Angel University also provides unique experiences like Bighistory and more I can say that holy angel university has a good school system that could contribute to the academic or holistic development of every students.

Teaching philosophy

Every teacher has its teaching philosophy one teacher might have one but some has combinationsof this philosophies, the teacher that I am observing has existentialism because he teach the students life long skills like self help skills and other more that helps the child to become independent and grow as an individual this philosphy shows how important it is to know who you really are to know your role as an individual why do exist what do you want to do its good that a teacher has this kind of philosophy in a SPED setting because most the time Sped teachers tends to use progresivist philosphy because they want this sudents to progress slowly but through time improve will be seen. 

As a future teacher I could incorporate this in my teaching but I prefer to search my own philosophy through time I can find my teaching philosophy how I want to deal with my students and how I want them to learn because in the end of the day we are all unique and distinctive in our own ways lets use this uniquenes to create positive changes in the future.

Child protection policy

In the universal declaration of human rights article 3 states that everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of a person therefore everyone should protected and secured because they are all given precious life that is worth everything and precious therefore we should take care of it we should practice child protection in every institution to create an safe and secured environment for our learners this could help our country and the whole world to reduce conicts especially wars make every school implement this policies and create a healthy community for our future and the youth.
As a future teacher I will be an advocate of child protection becaues I do believe that the youth is the most important resource that we have and I am very proud to be a part of this movement taling care of the youth and to see our future grow witb the proper guidance and keep them safe , like the famous saying goes “ ang kabataan ang pag asa ng bayan” lets live up with this statement and take care of the children after all one of them might be our future leader so we should teach them well.

Teacher model of values

Nowadays as teacher we need to ask ourselves what is really important competency or character some would say character and some would say competency but for no matter how skilled you are in the field no matter how influential and well known you are without the right values or character you will never be successful as an individual because for me what is more important is character because  as a teacher we dont just teach make lesson plans and check papers its more than just that we also communicate and interact with parents, other personnel and most of all other professional thats why need to have a good character in order for us tobe successful as a bridge from homes to school.

My cooperating teacher shows good character in my short stay as an observer i gained alot of wisdom and knowledge because my teacher shows good character he cares for the students promotes collaboration with parents and other teachers shows respect other personnels like the janitor and welcomes visitors like me which a good thing, because this can promote a positive atmosphere in the teaching and learing process.

It was a great experience, memorable at the same time full of learning let me start with the things that I've observe that are very important and What i think is very essential for my future endeavore as a teacher

The thing that really struct me the most is the way how the teacher process everyday activities  she provide specific task to every individual, I see this as a very important aspect of teaching in SPED becuase we are exposing them to individual activities that can help in the future with self help skills and develop independence but not only in individual activity, the teacher also opens chances for social activities like buddy system where to students are involve in a activity which is a good thing.

Next one is the way the students performs task surprising without anyone asking them to do such thing then i found out that it is the routine that the teacher establish to them i remember the teacher saying “ tignan mo siya kahit diko sinabing mag walis siya nag wawalis siya” then slowly I realizwd that routines are very essential tool in teaching students to become independent and at the same developed in a holistic manner.

As a future I will make sure to implement all of this wisdom that i gained during my observation through this I can be effective in the simpliest way and create an impact to the life of every student that woulc come and go.

                                                          Teaching Philosophy



there are a lot of things that a student could learn and a lot of ways to learn we humans are distinctive in nature therefore they should be taught is a way that could hit their learning styles in this way we could provide opportunities and open doors to success for this students, I believe that learning starts within a child because if a child uses his imagination effective and lasting learning could be achieve and it could set as a spring board for the student to become more interested with learning and see the importance of learning as an intrinsic motivation.

I also believe that it is very important to provide individual activities and group activities because it builds the child in a holistic way also we need to provide harder activities for advance students this extra challenges provides opportunities for the child to reach his full potential because as teachers we need to understand that we need to adjust for our students because teaching should not just be deliver in a linguistic and visual form because there are a lot of ways to teach we just need to know our students and find a way to teach them in a way that fits them.

As a teacher we should know who our students are in this way we can provide appropriate activities that could enrich their present skills and strengths and their challenges to strengths because in the end of the we are all different but has the capacity to learn and adjust because learning is possible if we open doors for it, learning is possible if we make actions and lastly ill make sure that ill learn or adapt  to may cooperating teaches philosophy in teaching

The Orientation before the Deployment

Why do we do or conduct "ORIENTATION" a very important question that could lead to smooth flow of activities, Orientation is very important because it lays foundation for new beginnings it is also a way to make us see the overview of how a organization or something operates. during the observation i learned rules that I should observe in order to avoid problems  Orientation is important because:

• it provide concise information and accurate information that could help as to be comfortable with our task.

• it gives us confidence and a way to adapt faster.
• it promotes communication

during the orientation we were provided with helpful reminders, we are informed that we have responsibilities as observers therefore we should have the initiative to perform appropriate task that is inline with our role as a observer, for me the orientation really helped to prefer my self for my observation we are also informed that we should be aware of what other changes could occur during our observation for example this orientation is a perfect example of a new rule from the division.

The principle gave emphasis on preventive measures which we can't avoid because we are dealing with children and its natural to experience this things the principle told us to immediately inform her about the incident so she can provide options or alternative and finally to give respect to people in the school, and also the schools rules because ignorance to the law its not an excuse we need to be aware and ready to anything that we might face during our time in the school.

I learned that as a professional it is very important to provide orientation to people who are new in something or to a place because it could help them understand and avoid unnecessary action that could lead to mis understanding  because as early as now we should this things so we can apply in our future endeavor's even thought we are unique beings we still need to know one rule to follow and understand why we need to obey this rules

The effective Teacher by Harry Wong part 2

FIRST DAY

Harry Wong provides a lot of wonderful ideas in becoming an effective teacher that a simple person who wants to be an effective teacher could use and all of this ideas left me thinking "yeah it could work" but there is this sentence that struck me the most, "what you do as an effective teacher in the very first day of school year will determine your success" reminded me of the saying first impression last, just like in establishing ties its our first day that we set our expectation same as with the first day of school here we set our rules that are expected to be followed, that's why I believe that the first day of class is very crucial part of the whole school year.


The reason why I want to embrace this important message from Harry Wong because I believe that the first day of everything is important, like when we first met our best friend, the first time we ride a bike, the first time we had a crush on someone because the first day of the class will dictate what will be the outcome of the whole school year will it be good? or just okay? this questions will be answered by the way we set our expectation as a teacher and how we set positive rules that could lead the teaching and learning process with a smooth flow.


as a future teacher I will make my every first day of the class very lively and interactive this is how I will set expectation to my students and make them see how important the first day of our class is and set rules that are positive and achievable, I will introduce my self in a way that every one will realize to them that they should respect and listen to me through this I can make sure that the following days will go smooth and there would be a lot of learning's, as a future teacher we should understand the importance of the FIRST DAY OF CLASS and use it for it will help us in becoming an effective teacher.

I believe that every child is distinctive and  unique therefore should receive differentiated instruction where they can learn physically, emotionally , mentally and socially to grow holistically ready for any challenges that they might face. it is a pleasure for me to create an atmosphere where my students can reach their full potential and become productive as individuals.

I dream that one day I can be an effective and successful teacher in the future and be the best that i can be to provide quality and appropriate education for my students for being a teacher comes great responsibility not a curse but a gift for it is an ability to share my knowledge and create an impact to the lives of my students.

a lot of amazing ideas were discussed during the viewing, first is how can a teacher become effective the answer is he should be efficient meaning he should do the right thing. doing the right thing leads to the right outcome. an effective teacher affects students lives by practicing the following way of teaching. first is a teacher should be a good classroom manager, when a teacher manages the class with ease everything will follow and the time will be maximize. another thing that a teacher should do is design a lesson to reach mastery because as a teacher we not just up to knowledge but we want them to reach highest level of learning which is evaluating. next is we should set positive expectation according to research setting high expectations leads positive results.

this topics are important in my present course because it gives me an idea on what are the things that i should know so when I become a professionals I can apply all this learning's in the real world. this learning's are also important for my professional growth because as a professional I am expected to know all this things, this information's could be a great help for all the challenges that i might face as a teacher. and finally on my personal growth because I believe that this Information are not only applicable in the profession it self but also as an individual. to become productive and independent

As a future teacher I will use this important learning's to create an atmosphere that will make my learners learn and reach their potential and to make them excited to learn I will use all this learning's to make a class that is interactive were everyone plays a part in the process of teaching and learning because I believe the greatest instructional material is the teacher is self learning would be hard without a teacher.

I will  share this knowledge with my peers by being an example showing them what a teacher should be on how a teacher should handle situations and show them how important it is to be an efficient teacher for doing the right thing is making things easier  I will set my self as an example for them. I know that I am not the smartest person but with this information i can be a successful teacher.

there is one important thing that I realize during the viewing that is intelligence is not the most important thing in the world it is doing the right thing creating wise decision, doing task just for compliance is not an attitude of a good teacher because a good teacher has the burning passion to teach and to create an impact to lives and create difference.
